The debut album from 2nd Wind is finally here! While the band has been a mainstay of the local club scene since 1998, they have long resisted the temptation to release a CD. Why now?

"We never wanted to record an album just for the sake of recording an album," explains front man "Hollywood" Steve Rangel. "It had to be right - the right line-up, the right songs, the right time. Finally, this year we decided, 'We're ready. We have something to say. It's time!'"

So, the Houston-based blues/rock trio spent the summer of 2006 recording a nine-song, all original CD. Entitled "Satisfied," the album includes tunes written during all stages of 2nd Wind's (to date) nine-year existence and reflects the wide variety of musical influences the band is known for.

Recorded at Limelight Studio in Dickinson, TX, engineered by Don Westmoreland, and produced by "Hollywood" Steve Rangel, "Satisfied" is 2nd Wind's finest work, the definitive achievement of one of Houston's most enduring bands.
